Learn then Climb

Strange how sometimes you feel to fall
I am twirling free falling through dense air
I try to grab on but nothingness prevents
What has happened here as I gasp openly?
Hold on my mind says a lesson is in order
Where is the ladder I wonder to ascend?
I was up there I thought boastfully yelling
Now I am spiraling I might as well swan dive
My arms out, here goes I hope it’s soft below
How in the world did I fall what did I do?
Nothing that’s what, I have talent somewhere
But failed to use it to express it maybe or not
Who have I actually helped I wonder descending
I look up to the light above me I am here
Does anyone hear me up there I yell
It comes back to me in an odd roaring echo
Sighing I feel afraid yet at peace some how
Lord I loved you but not enough to transcend
But I should help more I realize this now
Bang my feet hit dirt I feel the earth beneath
So this is where one falls I thought, to learn then climb

When we speak of the Spirit, we refer to the gift of the Holy Ghost. While the light of Christ enlightens all who come into the world, the spirit of the Holy Ghost is something more.
