Hello, nice to see there is such a group. I am vegan and I have been so for more than ten years now (I became vegetarian in 84!) I met my husband 10 years ago just after moving to England from Italy, and soon after we met he also became vegan: for ethical reasons of course, but also because he liked my receipes. Maybe Italy has a very good reputation in the field and England hasn't (:-( or simply it is that my husband is dreadful in the kitchen (he does the washing-up though, which I hate), anway since I moved to England and got married I discovered to be a very good cook (so they say). I am still surprised.
But probably no-one is interested in my talking, talking, talking
In the next months, when hopefully my life will be a bit less hectic than it is now, I shall pass you some recipes ... and you will say if I am good or not.
Don't eat animals, they have souls like us and often brighter than ours. Don't drink milk or eat eggs: dairy and eggs are source of infinite suffering!!! Go vegan and be healthier!!

I am not vegetarian but love vegetarian recipes...I do like tempe. Has anyone heard of it? It's like tofu but spicier and you can stir fry with soy sauce or teriyaki sauce. I used to be vegetarian after my parents owned a beef cow farm in Maine.
